Flat Slimline Roof Lights FAQ's
What Size Should I Measure?
We only work off INTERNAL hole sizes, so please make sure you measure the size of the hole. This can be including finish plasterboard if you want to leave the black aluminium frame of the skylight showing, if you do not then simply give us the size of the hole before the plastering. Our skylights are designed using a 70mm wide aluminium kerb detail profile which can sit on a minimum of 70mm wide upstand.

Do You Install Skylights?
Yes only for the Slimline and Pyramid products which are delivered in one piece as a factory bonded and glazed weatherproof unit. You lift this up onto the roof and fix to your ready prepared timber kerb. Please make sure you have good access in order to get the product up onto your flat roof.
Are The Roof Pitches forThe Pyramid And Slimline Fixed?
Yes they are fixed at a 40?angle all round, this is the optimum pitch for the easy clean glass coating to work on the external surface of the glass. This is also the optimum angle for structural integrity preventing any snow loading and giving good water run off. This angle also gives the best aesthetics for this design of product giving the feel of improved volume from the inside. Choose the flat skylights for a low sightline option with minimal external height.
Are The Roof Lights Available In White
No we only manufacture the slim glazing cappings in black powder coated aluminium, this is because the silicone seals within double and triple glazed units is black, allowing the caps to blend harmoniously with the seals to give very neat lines for an architectural look. White roofs require a lot of maintenance to keep them looking clean with regular cleaning to prevent dirt and pollution building up and discolouring the white covers leaving them looking grubby.
What Is The Largest Size I Can Have
Currently the maximum size we can manufacture using the Slimline product is 4000mm x 1600mm. Very soon we will be able to offer the fixed flat rooflights as a modular product which joins together in modules of 2000mm x 1200mm to give sizes up to 10,000mm x 2000mm or 10,000mm x 1200mm.
